Dearest Members, Industry Stakeholders and fellow Poultry Enthusiasts,
We’re flying in this year to welcome you to our annual edition of PAT’s very own TPS! AKA Tanzanian’s Poultry Show!
All of us at PAT are very excited to see you all! Previously we found that swapping stories, challenges and learning new solutions was vital for some of us to progress our feathery factories and see them thrive in some of the hardest conditions. We like to call this THE TPS EFFECT! Moreover, we have seen a shift in the understanding of our local and regional government, with positions now being filled with persons whom possess previous private sector experience.
With this in mind it seems the perfect time to celebrate our industry, curate new ambitions and set targets for our personal economic growth in Tanzania.
As you know PAT has been working tirelessly since 2015 on developing a sense of community and togetherness. Spending resources exploring in more detail the vital subsectors of the value chain that all our members and stakeholders form to make our industry function.
From the Hatcheries and Breeders, Keepers and Feed producers, Processors, Commercial experts and not to mention the veterinary advisors, machinery and housing suppliers, the educators the researchers the list goes on and on!
These are all essential parts of the industry that must communicate and work together to maintain our poultry products making it from farm to fork, no matter where you work; UP-Stream, MAIN or DOWN, we salute all of your efforts.
Talking of efforts… …let’s look at the rewards!
This year PAT has organized the bringing together of some of the finest minds in the country to come and talk poultry! We’ve got seminars on growth rates, new feed mechanics, domestic care and focus groups on how to add value to our products; where our specialists can offer hands on advise about hands on care!
Again from all of us at PAT we are very happy to welcome and be able to celebrate with you at this year’s Tanzania’s Poultry Show.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Kindest Always
